About Coral Coast

The Coral Coast southern point starts at Cervantes (247kms north of Perth and extends north another 1000 kms to Exmouth ( 1270kms north of Perth). In between are numerous tourist towns that require you to STOP, LOOK & ENJOY.. as each town has it’s own unique qualities that makes them renowned both nationally and internationally. Australia’s Coral Coast is a diverse region with one of the world’s greatest variety of marine life; including the World Heritage listed Shark Bay Marine Park… home of the world famous “Monkey Mia bottle nose dolphins” and Hamelin Pool Nature Reserve as well as the equally famous Ningaloo Marine Park.

Whether your interest be snorkelling on the Ningaloo Reef; exploring spectacular National Parks; fishing from both land and sea; staying at friendly towns; or visiting the fantastic display of Western Australian wildflowers that carpet the landscape in season…you will be captivated and be able to take home memories to last a lifetime, as well as some great pictures for the photo album. The Pinnacles located within the Nambung National Park at Cervantes will make you feel as though you have been transported to another land and time, whilst the Kalbarri National Park will amaze you year round with rugged rock formations and whales and wildflowers in season.

Diving at Exmouth Swimming with the Whale Sharks in Exmouth/Coral Bay or whale watching from charter boats will help you appreciate the beauty of these wonderful creatures that migrate south annually during August to early November.  Please explore through the individual town pages to see what you would like to add to your holiday itinerary and then contact the tourist bureauxs or the accommodation resorts to make your reservations.
